Chris called before to share the good news that the pathology report showed that the cancer in her lymph nodes had responded well to the chemo and
had shrunk. She will begin 5 wks of radiation beginning Nov.
Are you doing any fitness lately besides t.t.? Since going to fitness at 3 am isn't very appealing to me! I've started jump roping but only manage to 30 since my
heart is racing by then...and I've gained some weight by being more inactive.
Must get some mobility into my life besides flying!!:-)
Glad to hear that Inge is home and your little farm is such a success.
Some people are just ornery and unhappy; try not to let that bother you.

Carissima, thanks for your message! I supected that AK has milder weather than we have! ;-) My lesson was good today. After our usual dictation we orally repeated the irregular verbs and applied them: I gave him German sentences with these verbs to express in English. He liked that and said we should do that more often. Afterwards I bought the last jump-start battery that Penny had on sale, and then I went to play table tennis. Didn't play too bad either.
I miss you. Couldn't you have stayed in Toronto longer? Love you lots. TPL, me
P.S.: One of my Am. facebook friends, Tony, said that my farm was "the pride of FarmVille"!!! Isn't that a nice thing to say? :-) He has a friend who knows a Jutta in New Jersey! Didn't think the name existed in the States.

P.P.S.:
Inge is back from hospital!!! She is still a bit weak and has to get rest (she always shared her room with other women and enjoyed a bunch of intense interactions), but she is happy to have survived the crises and to be back here. Thank you so very much for your prayers!!!

P.P.P.S.: Dearest big Sis, I'm a bit under the weather. I guess with this crazy weather we've been having in October this is an unusually early onset of winter depression. Last Saturday I had a heated encounter with the man at the Wertstoffhof and yesterday (Wednesday) an unpleasant dispute with my landlady which both took up lots of energy. I'm feeling generally worn out and could use a little extra prayer. Thanks a lot!

Wednesday neither my student nor my badminton partner showed up! (My student had an important appointment on Tuesday that's why we postponed till Wed.) But usually I get paid anyway and I played badminton for some time with one of the guys and then left early because it was enough for me (1st time after holidays) and the guys were 4 anyway and I made the number odd.
Last night a young American woman posted to my facebook wall:
"Just wanted to thank you for being such a sweetie in FarmVille ... Have a good night." :-)))
